We are excited to have been working with Ricardo Marnewick from Dolly produxion in designing concept art for spelonk
A word from Ricardo
I have studied 2D animation but it wasn't my strong point though because I discovered that I'm more into graphic designing especially image retouching which is one of my stronger abilities. I'm very excited to work on this project just for the fact that I'll get a chance to combine two of my passion, designing and film.
I see the world of Spelonk as something exciting and also something new for Cape Town, South Africa. Spelonk can be huge amongst the sci fi fundis in the mother city especially myself as I am a big sci fi fan cause I admire the cgi being used in sci fi films. I watch sci fi films mostly for the cgi. To be able to be part of Spelonk is such a bonus.
We are truly honoured to have some of the best local companies involved with the film. Since the start of our conversation with Chris from Jensen, we were warmly welcomed. It is truly a pleasure to have them involved with the film. See below for a word from them and be sure to visit them.
All of us at Jensen Belts are extremely excited to be involved with the Spelonk film. Being a local manufacturer of quality leather products we love to celebrate anything and everything local. The film is a great showcase of local talent and artists and is also an employment creating enterprise, which we fully support. We cannot wait for the film and congratulate the team working on Spelonk for all their hard work and dedication.
